Salil Singh
Salil Singh is an internationally acclaimed debate coach and academic trainer who has trained teams from four countries and over a hundred schools in India. An active member of the college debate circuit in his day, he went on to forge a career in the field with the goal of making the joys of logic, reasoning, and public speaking accessible to students and schools that might otherwise miss out on such opportunities. Having started coaching school debate teams for national and international tournaments in his teens, he was awarded Coach of the Year at the World Scholar's Cup Global Round 2014.

He founded Behes in 2014, starting with three schools in New Delhi. Today, nearly two hundred schools across India participate in Behes tournaments. When not at tournaments or workshops, he can be found visiting schools across the country, inviting them to join the Behes community. Salil also leads Behes Consultants, a private limited company that brings together award-winning trainers and passionate college debaters to deliver debate clubs and camps across India. Within its first year, Behes Consultants has already established debate clubs in three NCR schools and trained teams for several international tournaments.
Rita Singh
Rita Singh serves as our Director, bringing vast experience from her earlier roles as CEO and Director of a leading group of educational institutions. A National Awardee of the CBSE Teachers Award 2019 (Principal Category), she is also a CBSE Master Trainer for the School Quality Assessment and Assurance (SQAA) Framework and Holistic Progress Card, having trained over 200 principals.

She serves on CBSE's Two-Level Curriculum in Class IX-X pilot and the Subject Expert Committee for Mathematics. As a consultant with the British Council India for the International Dimension in Schools project, she has assessed and guided hundreds of schools and supported the Government of Madhya Pradesh in aligning its curriculum with the British Council's Core Skills framework. A 21st Century Skills trainer, she has trained over 100 teachers from Telangana government schools and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas in Uttar Pradesh under the EQUIPS project. Rita brings unmatched expertise and insight to our young team.
Shivani Pathak
Shivani Pathak is an educator, curriculum designer, and textbook author with over seven years of experience in teaching, training, and content development. She has designed civic learning programs for government schools, trained teachers, and co-created an online course on 21st-century skills for the Ministry of Youth Affairs.

Her work includes collaborations with district administrations in Kurukshetra (Haryana) and Mangaluru (Karnataka) to strengthen civic education by connecting students, teachers, and local governments. Shivani has authored Environmental Studies and foundational learning books, supported debate and public speaking initiatives, and co-led training under the School Quality Assessment and Assurance Framework (SQAAF).
Eshan
Eshan's tryst with debate began back in primary school, and he hasn't stopped arguing since-thankfully, now with structure and time limits. He first made his mark by winning the KV Nationals in 2016-17 and went on to pursue a degree in Media and Mass Communication from Manipal University.

Before joining Behes, he explored the worlds of sports journalism at SportsKeeda and brand strategy at News18, where he successfully pretended to know a lot about both. Since joining Behes in 2023, he's been running tournaments, training adjudicators, and convincing students that debate is actually fun. Whether managing chaos at a venue or helping first-timers find their voice, Eshan brings energy, empathy, and the occasional bad pun to the table.
Naimish Tripathi
Naimish Tripathi is an advocate, writer, and creative director. A graduate of Jamia Millia Islamia, he has been active in the Indian debate circuit for over a decade. As Head of Content and Training at Behes - India's largest debate platform for school students - he has conducted tournaments and trained participants from over 3,000 schools across 50+ cities in India and five other countries.

Naman Pathak
Naman Pathak, an MBA in Accounts and Finance from NMIMS Mumbai, serves as Behes' Operations and Accounts Executive. With a strong foundation in business operations and financial management, he brings hands-on experience in logistics, accounting, and workflow optimization.

Before joining Behes, Naman worked as an Operations Executive at a café and collaborated as a food partner for three major Maha Behes events since 2021. His dynamic skill set and deep understanding of both finance and daily operations make him a versatile and dependable member of the team.
Uddeshya Agrawal
Uddeshya Agrawal is a Political Science student at Amity University and has been associated with Behes since 2019-when a regional round at his school sparked his passion for debate. After competing in multiple tournaments, he joined Behes as a trainer in 2025.

He continues to participate in college debates, MUNs, and policy competitions, combining his love for politics and history with sharp analytical thinking. When not debating, Uddeshya can be found geeking out over aircraft, defence tech, and anything with wings or war games.
Chandrika Tomar
Chandrika Tomar's association with Behes spans stages, spreadsheets, and now, screens. From sparring as a school debater to managing tournaments as an intern, and later taking on full-time responsibilities, she's worn many hats-most of them at a tilt.

Mohit Singh
Mohit Singh is our Brand Strategist, Events Manager, and Design Guru-a creative individual with a natural flair for design and aesthetics. An MBA graduate, Mohit has managed a wide range of events for brands such as Sunburn, Weekender, Canon, and Mahindra, and has showcased artists like Jal, Raeth, Lucky Ali, Indian Ocean, and Euphoria.
